The eastern and western philosophies have elaborated greatly on the issue of conflict, conflict resolution, development, war, peace, etc. The common axis in many of the theories is the human factor, the way the individual perceives and is affected by these phenomena. In these theories there is an attempt to establish a working connection between the practical and the ideal. While conflict can be either a basis for societal development or non development, it also substantiates a perspective for the existence of values which are eventually intrinsic to political and moral improvements. Such values aim at the direction of prosperity and well- being, which remains an ecumenical and diachronic problem, not only under economic terms. Human societies are still faced with the dilemma, whether material progress is the fast track to the resolution on conflict. However, what is still disregarded, as shown in comparative philosophical literature, is that development has to take into consideration a richer notion of the human being; one concerned with elements of his inner reality. In that sense, development is the aftermath not only of the avoidance of war or conflict but of the enrichment of human life and action with certain advancements in individual and collective virtues, advancements that offer macroscopically benefit to the political. ; U istočnoj i zapadnoj filozofiji uveliko su razmatrana pitanja sukoba, rešavanja sukoba, razvoja, rata, mira itd. Uobičajena osa mnogih teorija jeste ljudski faktor, način na koji individua sagledava te fenomene i način na koji oni utiču na nju. U tim teorijama postoji pokušaj uspostavljanja radne veze između onoga praktičkog i onoga idealnog. Dok sukob može biti osnov ili za društveni razvoj ili za nerazvijanje, on takođe potvrđuje perspektivu o postojanju vrednosti koje su na koncu intrinzične moralnim i političkim poboljšanjima. Takve vrednosti za cilj imaju usmerenje prosperiteta i blagostanja, koje ostaje ekumenski i dijahronijski problem, i to ne samo u ekonomskom smislu. Ljudska društva su još uvek suočena s dilemom da li je materijalni napredak prečica za razrešenje sukoba. This paper explores the issue of knowledge management in modern Democracies, along with the demands posed by the truth problem. While a singular concept of truth can neither be epistemically safe, thus becoming flexible for partial or subjective demonstrations of its authentic or ideal value, nor applicable for every society, it can still take the form of a critical consensus, based on two new principles that are introduced here. The continuity of such a consensus that lies beyond the manipulation of an un-ethical rhetoric or demagogy can safeguard the existence of the Polis, without having to cease espousing typical logic syllogisms as well as the moral qualities that are essential for a meaningful way of social and political life. If not conducive to the collective good, the search for truth remains futile in the practical level of making people's lives better and of enhancing their common bonds. ; У цій статті розглядається питання управління знаннями в сучасних демократіях, а також проблема істини. У той час як сингулярне поняття істини не може бути ні епістемічно безпечним, таким чином, стаючи гнучким для часткових або суб'єктивних проявів свого аутентичного або ідеального значення, ні застосовуваним для будь-якого суспільства, воно все ще може приймати форму критичного консенсусу на основі двох нових принципів, що постулюються у даній статті. For Adorno and Horkheimer, rationalism – in fact,a technical rationalism which becomes a rationalism ofdomination– failed to provide the path to the liberationof man and society. The aftermath, half education of the masses, is not an incompleteeducation or lack of education, but substantially hostility towards culture and genuineeducation, decay and involvement of education in individual considerations andbenefits, with the contribution of mass dissemination of culture and art. Nonetheless, and although he remains an individualist,he does not have real access to the gifts of individuality. Marcuse understands that,ultimately, there is a conflict between production and profit on the one hand and self-determinationon the other. As technology spreads its dominance over nature, manconquers man through mass control, diffused through work and culture. Aristotle and Confucius elaborate theirtheories on the basis of a complex apprehensionof the ethical and political problem as one. The Greek and the Chinesephilosopher focus on the importance of virtue, which signifies a passage froman initial understanding of communal life to a life with others that becomesself-fulfilling and facilitates self improvement and excellence. The individualgoal is the same as the collective goal; this becomes the foundation of theireducational schemes. By their doctrines on the Mean, the two thinkers focuson the acquisition of wisdom and knowledge, not as mere theoretical equipmentbut as guidance for practical purposes. Virtue is the capacity to preserveoneself in a perfect condition, one that will lead to a eudaimonistic and harmoniouslife. The Mean is the proper way that will create the right habit andwill secure the right evolution of the human being towards its ideal condition.Thus the Mean becomes a golden rule for education, as education is an ongoingprocess until righteousness and phronesis become indispensable aspectsin one's personality. ; Арістотель і Конфуцій розробили свої теорії на основі комплексногосприйняття етичних і політичних проблем як єдиного цілого.
